I am a snack food addict. First step is admitting it. I will not give in tonight!!!!! Why couldn’t I be a coke addict? At least I would be skinny lol jk. Sighhh hopefully If I don’t eat it I won’t want it anymore.

Also, strength training with a stuffy nose is horrible, but still manageable! I won a little trophy on sparkpeople for me first workout lol! I will have to be careful with cardio with my headcold, but it will get done somehow.
Now I’m off to see my fab boyfriend and maybe do some retail therapy for my cold :o)

Shit is About to get REAL.
So I have basically not been using my tumblr for any good so here I go trying to do something good for myself.
I had my last day of classes today, EVER. I know right? PUMPED!! But at the same time reality is hitting me. I want a career and I want one now, don’t care how I want it now. (name that tune?) So I have decided to put my big girl panties on and finally lose that extra 50 or so lbs I carry around with me everywhere. I want to be under 200lbs again, which honestly has not been since like middle school (I know right? Scary) and I want to be a size 10 or under, which has not been the case probably since elementary school (I know right? EVEN FUCKING SCARIER.) So I have started step one…
GETTING HELP.
I have signed onto sparkpeople.com to help me out. I made my goal to be 150lbs. by February 24th. I am going to start working out at home with the videos they provide and when I move back to LI in August the first thing I will do is get a gym membership, and probably still do the videos on the website. The hardest thing is going to be to stop eating the food that I love, I have a serious love affair with food and I need to keep myself on this healthy cooking kick I have been on and STICK WITH IT. Also, I need to stop making excuses and tell myself that skinny people eat fast food all the time and remember when they are not young anymore they are probably going to get fat, and I in turn would get even fatter, which is a slippery slope that I will not let myself go down. Fast food is OUT OF THE QUESTION.
I need to get this weight gone and I need to get it gone now. I will succeed and by February 24th I will be 150lbs or below, and I will be a size 10 or below, and I will conquer the one thing in my life that I have never been able to conquer.
I am ready to go. Countdown starts now.

Thankfully, dreams can change. If we’d all stuck with our first dream, the world would be overrun with cowboys and princesses. So whatever your dream is right now, if you don’t achieve it, you haven’t failed, and you’re not some loser. But just as importantly - and this is the part I may not get right and you may not listen to - if you do get your dream, you are not a winner.
Life is an improvisation. You have no idea what’s going to happen next and you are mostly just yanking ideas out of your ass as you go along. And like improv, you cannot win your life. And even when it might look like you are winning, for instance, I have my own show, which I love doing, full of very talented people, who are eager and ready to serve me, and that is great, but at it’s best I am serving them just as hard. And together we serve a common idea, in this case the character Stephen Colbert, who it’s clear, isn’t interested in serving anyone. And a sure sign that things are going well, is that no one can remember whose idea’s was whose, or who should get credit for what jokes. Though, naturally, I get credit for them all. But, if we should serve others and together serve some common goal or idea for anyone of you, what is that idea? And who are those people? In my experience, you will truly serve only what you love. Because service is love made visible. If you love friends, you will serve your friends. If you love community, you will serve your community. If you love money, you will serve your money. And if you love only yourself, you will serve only yourself, and you will have only yourself. So, no winning. So I’m sitting in a panera meeting with Cliff…too funny. Oh high school boys working at panera, I forgot how annoying they are. So glad I never have to go back to high school days!!!
